TERMS OF SERVICE

These are here to protect myself as a freelancer, and you as a client.

If you have an issue with anything, please just say.

By commissioning "theforgedviper", you as the client agree to the following terms:

  1. Ownership, Usage & Reselling Rights
    • All work I provide is licensed, not sold. I retain ownership of the original work unless explicitly transferred in writing.
    • Clients may use the work in their personal or commercial projects.
    • Clients may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, share, or transfer the work (including modified versions) to third parties without my written permission.
    • My work may not be resold as standalone assets, included in asset packs, or uploaded to marketplaces.
    • Unauthorized distribution or resale may result in a DMCA takedown and being reported.
  2. Editing & Attribution
    • Clients may modify the work for use in their project.
    • Clients may not claim the original work as entirely their own creation.
    • Attribution is not required but is appreciated.
  3. Payment Terms
    • Pricing and scope must be agreed upon before work begins.
    • An upfront payment is required and depends on the size and complexity of the project.
    • Proof of progress will be provided before requesting additional payments.
    • The final product will only be provided after full payment is received.
    • If work is done in shared development environments (e.g., team collaboration tools), payment must be completed prior to work.
    • Refunds are not available once work has started.
  4. Client Responsibilities & Revisions
    • Clients must provide clear instructions, assets (if required), and timely feedback.
    • Major changes outside the agreed scope may require additional fees.
    • Minor changes related to the original scope may be provided for 3 days after delivery.
    • Additional revisions, features, or long-term support require a separate agreement.
    • Lack of response for 5 days or constant/sudden long-lasting disappearances may lead to order cancelation.
  5. File Storage & Backups
    • After final delivery, the project will be stored securely. Clients are responsible for maintaining their own copies of all files. However, if you lose your files, you are welcome to request another copy at no charge, provided the backup is still available. While I take care in storing backups, long-term storage is not guaranteed.
  6. Termination & Enforcement
    • I reserve the right to terminate services if these terms are violated or if communication becomes unprofessional.
    • These terms are governed by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

Please note that these Terms Of Service will not change, you will not need a copy of it, it will forever be here.
